We are actively recruiting a Director of Philanthropy with versatile skills to drive our charitable giving efforts. This role plays a pivotal part in executing our mission statement, guiding the organization toward achieving its charitable goals, and fostering collaborations for impactful change.

  • Job Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


    1. Strategic Fundraising:

       Develop comprehensive fundraising plans aligned with organizational objectives.

       Secure financial support through various channels, including individual donors, corporations, and grants.

     

    2. Donor Cultivation:

       Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors to sustain ongoing support.

       Implement strategies to engage donors in the organization's mission and impact.

     

    3. Event Management:

       Organize and execute special events tailored for donors to enhance their connection with the organization.

       Coordinate fundraising events to meet annual goals and enhance donor engagement.

     

    4. Financial Oversight:

       Manage budgeting related to charitable giving activities.

       Ensure financial resources are allocated effectively to meet organizational goals.

     

    5. Outreach and Partnerships:

       Develop outreach strategies to expand the donor base.

       Prioritize and foster public-private partnerships, especially with Polynesian and Caribbean islands.


  • Educational Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications).

  • Experience Requirements

    Proven experience in a philanthropy or fundraising management role.

    Strong background in developing and executing successful fundraising plans.

    Familiarity with mobilizing resources/funding for NGOs.

    Prior experience in establishing public-private partnerships, especially with Polynesian and Caribbean islands.

  • Additional Requirements

    Fluent in English.

    Extensive experience in the non-profit sector, with a focus on charity, donation, and fundraising events.

    Knowledge of the Singapore and/or Australia market is a plus.
