Join a pioneering US non-profit organization embarking on a diverse range of social, environmental, scientific, and technical initiatives. We are actively recruiting a Chief Energy Officer with exceptional cross-disciplinary skills to lead our scientific endeavors. This role is integral to the success of our projects, requiring expertise in labs management, renewable fuel cell R&D, team management, incubator/accelerator programs, and collaboration with high education institutions.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Laboratory Setup:
Utilize experience to set up research labs from scratch.
Ensure safe and efficient laboratory operations for diverse scientific projects.
2. Renewable Fuel Cell R&D:
Lead research and development initiatives in renewable fuel cell technologies.
Drive innovation and efficiency in green energy solutions.
3. Monitor site energy consumption and sustainability factors:
Validate reporting of carbon offset and clean energy production.
Optimize the non profit energy consumption usage per site.
4. Team Management:
Manage teams of researchers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Provide guidance and support for the successful execution of projects.
5. Incubator/Accelerator Programs:
Oversee and run incubator and/or accelerator programs for scientific and technical startups.
Nurture the growth of emerging projects within the organization.
6. Collaboration with Higher Education Institutions:
Collaborate with and mobilize resources from high education institutions.
Establish and strengthen partnerships to enhance scientific capabilities.

Educational Requirements
Degree in Applied Physics, Electrochemical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience Requirements
Proven experience in setting up non-hazardous chemistry labs.
In-depth expertise in renewable fuel cell research and development.
Track record of successfully managing teams of researchers.
Experience in running incubator and/or accelerator programs.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and mobilize resources from higher education institutions.
Experience in taking scientific innovation to mainstream applications.

Additional Requirements
Fluent in English.
Previous experience in a non-profit setting is a plus.
Knowledge of the Singapore and/or Australia market is advantageous.
